Catalyst Life Services Offering Telehealth Services To Aid Community

MANSFIELD, OH - Catalyst Life Services has announced that they have transitioned most of their services to telehealth in order to aid the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We know this COVID-19 pandemic can cause overwhelming emotions such as sadness, fear, depression, and anxiety. We are uniquely challenged by social distancing measures, and some people turn to alcohol and other drugs to alleviate their negative feelings., Catalyst Life Services said in a press release. "Children and parents may also be struggling as society has had to adjust to schools being out and the potential loss of jobs and income threats in some families."
Catalyst Life Services states that since the pandemic started, they have seen an increase in overdoses, suicides, and domestic violence cases.
In order to aid those in need of help in the community, Catalyst is providing updates regarding how the organization has adapted its service delivery.
The following are updates have been provided by Catalyst Life Services:
- If you or someone you know is in crisis, call our 24-hour Helpline at 419-522-HELP (4357). Our trained staff will also provide support and guidance regarding how to access mental health, psychiatric, and substance use disorder services. We help you navigate this process from the safety and comfort of your own home.
- If you just need to talk, but you are not in crisis, you can call the Warm Line at 419-522-5300.
- We are excited to offer your initial appointment and ongoing services through a phone conversation or video visits via your phone or other electronic devices.
- We are still offering vocational, deaf, and interpreting services remotely.
"We know this is a difficult time for everyone and we want to make sure the residents of Richland County know how to access the tools they may need to cope with the uncertainty and apprehension of a global crisis without having to come onsite" Catalyst Life Services stated.
