August 22, 2016

Richland County Children Services today accepted the donation of about 200 new Carhartt clothing items, courtesy of territory sales manager David Lee from Lexington.

Items for women include winter coats, spring coats, short-sleeve shorts, long-sleeve shirts and hats. Clothing for men includes winter coats, fleece jackets, sweatshirts, short- and long-sleeve shorts and button-up shirts.

These items will be distributed by caseworkers to children and families being served by the agency.

Carharrt, Inc. is a U.S.-based clothing founded in 1889 that focuses on work clothing. It remains a family-owned company, owned by the descendants of company founder Hamilton Carhartt, headquartered in Dearborn, Mich.
