Billboard contest winner gets her RCCS calendar

Laura Dick, a third-grader at Dowds Elementary School in Shelby, won the Richland County Children Services billboard contest earlier this year with her drawing.

That same drawing is one of 12 used in the annual children's calendar the agency is handing out at this year's Richland County Fair.

Laura was at the fair on Monday and stopped by the agency booth inside Fairhaven Hall. She was kind enough to accept a calendar and pose for a photo.

Congratulations again to Laura and all of the youngsters who entered drawings in this year's contest. The folks getting calendars love your artwork!
