RICHLAND COUNTY, OH - This Wednesday, you and others can help participate in "Wear Blue Day" in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Click here for link to the story.

The day helps to spread awareness of child abuse, neglect, and dependency.

On Friday, the Richland County Children's Services staff placed over 1,200 blue pinwheels outside the Richland County Courthouse to remind everyone that every child deserves a safe, happy, permanent home, and to bring awareness of the event.

"Wear Blue Day" is set to take place Wednesday, April 8th. Dress in blue and take a photo of yourself or others and email it to Community Engagement Specialist Brigitte Coles at Richland County Children's Services, her email can be reached at brigitte.coles@jfs.ohio.gov.
