Richland County Children Services responds to COVID-19

March 19, 2020

Richland County Children Services is aware of the impact that the COVID-19 virus may have on the populations we serve. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, RCCS will implement the following measures:

  • Effective on Monday, March 23, 2020, we will begin restricting the number of visitors to the Agency. Visitors are strongly encouraged to utilize other means of communication (such as phone or email) at this time. Anyone scheduled to visit the Agency on or after March 23rd should contact their caseworker for further instructions.
  • Our office will remain partially staffed Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. unless orders are received otherwise. We will provide updates as soon as they become available.

If you need to make a report of suspected child abuse or neglect, please call us at 419-774-4100. If you believe that a child is in immediate danger, please call 9-1-1.

We thank you for your understanding and support as we work together as a community to ensure the safety, well-being and permanency of children at risk of abuse and neglect.
