Mansfield Association of REALTORS donates to Richland County Children Services

December 16, 2011

The Mansfield Association of REALTORS  recently donated hundreds of child care items through its “Duffel Bags for Kids” campaign to Richland County Children Services

The local REALTORS board has a “Standing Together Affiliates Realtors Strong (STARS) for Children Services” program that generated 31 Realtor Backpacks, 11 Realtor Duffle Bags and one Realtor tote bag.

The bags and backpacks contained child essential items like blankets, pillows, baby products, bathroom needs, hats and gloves, shampoo, deodorant, books, puzzles, dolls and balls.

The items are given to children being assisted by the child protective services agency, especially youngsters who come into the agency’s custody and may not have such personal items of their own.

Sue Fanello, Debbie Sweet and Alex Rocks from the MAR presented the items to Greg Kahl, communications supervisor for Richland County Children Services.

Richland County Children Services, 731 Scholl Road, has assisted local children and families since 1883. For more information on the agency, call 419-774-4100 or visit the agency Web site at www.richlandcountychildrenservices.org.
