Visit Richland County Children Services at Black History Celebration

Richland County Children Services will again have an informational table on Saturday at the annual community Black History Month Celebration at the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library, 43 W. Third St. in Mansfield.
The agency will share a space with representatives from the Kinship Family Center during the event, which begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
Guests stopping by the table can learn more about services the agency provides and can also sign-up to learn more about becoming a foster or foster-to-adopt parent in Richland County.
Scheduled entertainment during the day includes the Mansfield Senior High School Black Culture Club at 11:45; the Mansfield Community Choir at noon; the Providence Baptist Church at 12:30, the NAACP Youth Council at 1 p.m. and local musician Garlan McCruter and Friends at 2 p.m. Soul food will be sold in the library cafe from noon to 2 p.m.
