You can help make Christmas bright for another 100 local children

December 19, 2011

Richland County Children Services, working in conjunction through partnerships with the Richland County Children’s Auxiliary, Crossroads Community Church and the Kroger store on Lexington Avenue, has ensured gifts for more than 600 local children this Christmas season, including 200 in the local Kinship program.

The agency is asking local residents to help make Christmas dreams come true this year for about 100 additional local children, including boys and girls of all ages, infant to 18.

Children Services is asking residents to bring gifts to the agency office at 731 Scholl Road, Mansfield, 44907. There is no need to wrap the gifts. Agency employees and volunteers will wrap the gifts and deliver them to the families. Gifts will be accepted during normal business hours Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For more information, contact Brianne Kindinger, volunteer coordinator, at 419-774-4130.
