Target recalls Children's Frog Masks due to suffocation hazards

October 24, 2011

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Target Corporation, has issued a voluntary recall on Children’s Frog Masks due to suffocation hazards.

Approximately 3,400 masks, sold nation wide at Target Stores, are included in the voluntary recall.

The plush frog masks lack proper ventilation in the mouth area. Once the child has the mask secured in place there is no cutout allowing for the child to breath.

The masks were sold exclusively at Target Stores for $1 between August 2011 and September 2011.

Consumers should immediately take the masks away from children and return the product to any Target Store for a full refund.
