Pasta dinner huge success for Staff Enrichment
October 4, 2010LEXINGTON -- Richland County Children Services Staff Enrichment netted $1,430 on Friday during the group's annual "Pre-Game Pasta Dinner" at the Senior Citizen Depot.
There were 179 people in attendance at the meal, which featured sauces prepared by five different agency employees, as well as drinks, bread and salad. (Click here for a photo gallery from the event.)
Ticket sales generated $946 and Staff Enrichment also took in $759 from the silent auction of 15 themed baskets prepared by agency employees.
A "Halloween" basket prepared by finance department employees was the top money making basket with a successful bid of $95.
Staff Enrichment is an employee-run organization that provides numerous benefits for agency employees, including the annual Christmas party in December.

It started with a few scraps of material, a few avid quilters and some extra time. It ended with a great donation of 72 quilts to foster children and other youngsters served by Richland County Children Services.
