RCCS Foster Care/Adoption/Licensing caseworker Sarah Owen presents a  certificate of excellence to Home Depot Manager Dan Berger and Home Depot Associate Erin Bundesen.

Ontario, OH - Richland County Children Services recognized the Home Depot in Ontario for helping to keep children and families safe.

For more than a decade, Home Depot has donated door alarms for the families RCCS serves in Richland County. Home Depot Manager Dan Berger was given a Certificate of Excellence from RCCS thanking the store for the continued support.

“This is the least the store can do to help keep the children of the community safe,” Berger said. “We’re honored to work with the agency and happy to be giving back.

“Anytime we need Dan’s assistance, we just give him a call. He asks how many alarms we need and he makes sure they’re ready up front for pick up,” said RCCS Foster Care/Adoption/Licensing caseworker Sarah Owen. “We could not support our families alone and we rely on the community as a whole for wrap-around support.”

RCCS thanks Dan and Home Depot for making safety a number one priority in Richland County for our children .
