Celebrating 20 years of service to RCCS

La’Shaun Reuer was honored for 20 years of service                                                                                              to Richland County Children Services.

 

Ongoing 4 Team caseworker La’Shaun Reuer was honored for 20 years of service to Richland County Children Services.

For her dedicated work, RCCS recognized La’Shaun at the October 18 staff meeting. Ongoing 4 Team Supervisor, Charity Hamler, presented La’Shaun with an award and certificate.

La’Shaun was hired in April 1998 as a “Kelly’s Girl” through Kelly Services, Inc. employment agency. In September 1998 she became a full-time data clerk and receptionist.

Her experience and knowledge promoted her to file room clerk and administrative assistant to the agency assistant director.

In 2008, La’Shaun became a caseworker. She     graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a BA degree in Social Work in December 2015. She completed courses and received certifications as a Home Study Assessor.

“My passion is to keep children safe and with their families,” Reuer said.

 La’Shaun is a wife, mother and grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren.
