National Infant Immunization Week April 21 - April 28

Richland Public Health

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is April 21-28, 2018. Each year, NIIW highlights immunization achievements and the positive impact of vaccination on the lives of infants and children.

During NIIW, Richland Public Health reminds parents and pregnant women about the importance of on-time infant immunization. Richland Public Health encourages you to make sure your child is up to date on vaccines by taking CDC's childhood vaccine quiz, reviewing the 2018 easy-to-read immunization schedule, and talking to your child's medical provider. If you are pregnant, now is a great time to find a doctor for your baby and schedule a visit to discuss any questions you have about vaccines. NIIW is also the perfect time to learn more about vaccines and the diseases they prevent by visiting credible websites, such as the CDC's vaccine website for parents.

Infant, Child, and Adult immunizations are available during all business hours at the Richland Public Health Clinic, 555 Lexington Ave., Mansfield, Ohio.  Call 419-774-4700 to schedule an appointment at a time convenient for you. Walk-ins are welcome but an appointment will help shorten wait times.

You may also get immunizations for your infant, yourself, or family members at one of our Neighborhood Immunization Clinics. Those clinics are held at sites and times that may be more convenient for you.
