Richland County Children Services Releases 2017 Annual Report

Richland County Children Services "2017 Annual Report Stories of HOPE - Focus on Families", is now available on the agency's website. The 12-page report features the touching stories of two HOPE Parent Partners, a young single father who obtained custody of his little girl, and a kinship supervisor who are engaged in the child protection system. The report also includes a letter from Executive Director Patty Harrelson, information about screening/assessment and investigations, ongoing and placement services. 

In addition, the report includes information about the number of children and families served, local levy funds, revenues and expenses.  The report includes a section called "Community Involvement" which highlights community events the employees of RCCS have participated in as way to give back to the residents and communities the agency supports. 

"In this 2017 Annual Report, we changed our focus to highlight some of the families and our own people who work together to support safe homes for children in Richland County", Harrelson said.
