Child abuse prevention advocate to speak, sing at Wear Blue Day public rally

April 11, 2017

Ontario resident Dan Keeton, who has traveled the world talking about child abuse and neglect, will speak on Wednesday during the Wear Blue Day public rally at Graham Automall on West Fourth Street.

Keeton, a professional singer, will also perform during the event, which begins at 10 a.m. Keeton was a victim of child abuse himself and will soon be on a mission to Paris, France.

In late April, Daniel and the Keeton team will embark on a mission to take to the streets of Paris to partner with Christian organizations such as Serve the City Paris and The Friday Mission Lunch to share in compassion for the hungry and homeless. Daniel will share his love of music and faith, as well as his message of child abuse awareness and prevention, with American churches in Paris.

As a part of their mission, Daniel will record a live album of love songs and hymns titled, "An American Tenor in Paris." This recording’s purpose will be to help raise funds to continue the message of The Keeton Team to raise awareness of and the prevention of child abuse around the world.

The public is invited to attend the annual Wear Blue Day rally.
