Robert Konstam elected new Richland County Children Services Board chairman

The Richland County Children Services Board voted unanimously Monday night to elect Robert Konstam as the new board chairman.
The vote followed a two-and-a half-hour executive session during a special board meeting in the agency board room. 
Konstam replaces Nancy Joyce, who resigned as board chair last week. Vice chairman Dean Wells filled in after her resignation. Wells remains the board vice chairman.
Konstam, a longtime area attorney, is a former judge for the Richland County Domestic Relations Court and also served as the City of Mansfield Law Director.
The board scheduled another special meeting on May 31 at 4 p.m. at the agency.
