Richland County Children Services has busy weekend planned

Richland County Children Services has a big weekend planned, participating in two major events in Mansfield.

The agency will have a tent at the annual Juneteenth celebration in Mansfield on Friday evening and all day Saturday. The event will be in the Oasis of Love Park on the east side of the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center, 445 Bowman St. We will offer free popcorn and other giveaways, answer questions about the agency's services and sign-up prospective foster parents.

On Sunday at 2 p.m., agency employees will again walk in support of the Miss Ohio Parade, offering free candy to young people along the parade route.
