Richland County foster parents offer advice during recruitment meeting

John and Deanna Mack have welcomed 16 foster children into their homes. As a veteran of the process, John offered some sage advice to prospective foster parents at an open house Wednesday at Richland County Children Services.
“You have to love them like they’re your own,” he said. “If you have the capacity to do this, do it. You can do a significant service for kids right here who need it.”
